I downloaded the satellite TV for PC software and followed the installation process. It’s quite easy that any dummy folk can install it by following the simple installation wizard.
Does Satellite TV for PC work?
This was the first burning question that I wanted answered as soon as my credit card was charged. I have bought and downloaded products and softwares before that promised all kind of wow! - Only to be disappointed.
With satellite TV for PC 2008 elite edition, you will have access to thousands of channels around the world ranging from:
- Movies.
- Sports.
- Music.
- Premium channels.
- Kid’s channels.
- Education.
- Religion.
- Shopping.
- News weather and politics.
And many more.
There is a catch here though.
These are not just U.S.A channels, rather within this list you will find a wide selection of foreign channels to select from. You will be a little bit disappointed if all you are looking for is just American channels. Having said so though, if you are a fun of or love watching channels from around the world, then be prepared to browse through the hundreds of channels that are available.

I can see one advantage of using this program if you are in a foreign country it would make you a little less home sick perhaps to be able to find programming from your home country. Given the diversity of stations and programming available there is bound to be something for almost everyone regardless of where they are watching.
On the flip side however I can see something like this taking up quite a bit of bandwidth. It doesn’t look like the kind of thing you can have running in the background like a media player or other streaming application. It looks to me like it would slow your connection down enough that it would only work properly if that were the only thing you were doing at the time.

One advantage of Satellite TV for PC is its 3,000 channels. They are so diverse that they not only encompass American channels, but they also have programs from all over the world as well. Having so many channels at hand will provide hours of fun entertainment for you, your family and your friends, and you may even learn new things from watching international shows.
However, a disadvantage of Satellite TV for PC is that your computer must meet minimum system requirements. Unfortunately, people with older computers may not have the money to upgrade their systems or purchase new computers. It can be very expensive to try to switch to newer technology, so this may block some users from getting Satellite TV for PC.

Well I think this is a very good Idea. I might want to get one and i have a few questions that was not answered on the website
Could you use it with cable? Or can you get the shows on regular tv too?
Advantage would be having it right here in front of you while you are online you can watch you favorite shows. And 3,000 channels wow that is a lot. ( can never us the excuse that there is nothing on.)
I think though with satellite tv where there is a bad storm the signal gets lost, does that happen with this? If you can’t get it on your other TV’s in the house that might be a disadvantage.
